WCBS-TV in New York. She worked as a general assignment reporter from January 2004 until 2006, and solo anchored the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekend newscasts from April 2006 until November 2006. She joinedWCBS-TV fromABC News where she was co-anchor ofWorld News Now since 2003, with David Muir. Prior to that, she worked as the weekend anchor and weeknight reporter at the NBC affiliate in Boston, WHDH-TV. She also worked as an anchor and reporter at WTNH-TV in New Haven, CT, AND WGGB-TV, in Springfield, MA.Stassou graduated "cum laude" from the
University of Pennsylvania and holds a masters degree in science from theMedill School of Journalism atNorthwestern University . She resides in New York with her husband, two-year-old son, and seven-month-old daughter.References
