United States House of Representatives elections in Virginia, 2006

The 2006 Virginia U.S. House elections took place on November 7, 2006. Elections were held in Virginia's 1st through 11th congressional districts; in Virginia's 3rd district, incumbent Robert C. Scott (D) did not face an opponent.
* ushr|Virginia|1| Incumbent Republican Jo Ann S. Davis defeated Democrat Shawn M. O'Donnell and Independent Marvin F. Pixton III (a retired Marine Corps Colonel).
* ushr|Virginia|2| — In 2004, after U.S. Rep. Ed Schrock withdrew from seeking a third term, then-state Delegate Thelma Drake replaced him on the Republican ballot and was elected 55% to 45% against attorney and Marine Corps reservist David Ashe. Virginia Beach Commissioner of the Revenue Phillip Kellam was the 2006 Democratic nominee. In 2006, the race ended in a very narrow win for Drake by a margin of 51% to 48%. During the race, Kellam's support from controversial TV ads aired by Moveon.org were met by editorial criticism from local newspapers. * ushr|Virginia|4| Albert Burckard Lt. Col. U.S. Army (retired), running as an Independent Green Party of Virginia candidate, ran against Randy Forbes. Forbes won the race by a large margin of 76% to 23%.
* ushr|Virginia|5| Incumbent Republican Virgil Goode [http://www.virgilgoode.com/] defeated Democratic nominee Al Weed [http://www.alweedforcongress.com] , a vineyard owner and Vietnam War veteran. This was also not the first time these two candidates had fought over this seat; in the 2004 House election, Goode defeated Weed 64% to 36%.
