John Turner (basketball)

John L. Turner (born November 30 1967, in Washington, D.C.) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Houston Rockets in the 1st round (20th overall) of the 1991 NBA Draft. A 6'8" power forward from Allegany Community College and Phillips University, Turner played in only one NBA season. He played for the Rockets during the 1991-92 NBA season, appearing in 42 games and averaging 2.8 points per game.
