St. Mary of Monfero's Monastery

The Monastery of Saint Mary of Monfero is located in the borough of Monfero in Ferrol, A Coruña in north western Spain. It is a baroque piece of architecture built between 1622 and 1656. This magnificent work of architecture, part of the heritage of Ferrolterra, was mostly built on granite and slate in an exquisitely chosen location (because of its natural beauty [http://www.clubmontanaferrol.com/miradores/imagenes/monfero-pena-fesa.jpg] ) and has in its interior a Latin cross plant, with three naves.
