WEAX (88.3 FM, "The Revolution/88X") is a college radio station in Angola, Indiana. The station is owned by Tri-State University, and features a multitude of student programming and sports broadcasting. 88x is the voice of Thunder sports broadcasts and features football, volleyball, men's & women's basketball, baseball, and softball games. Student programming can be heard during the mornings from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The students are responsible for preparing themselves for their broadcasts, and are assisted by a professional operations manager employed by Tri-State University. Starting March 10, 2008, WEAX began broadcasting from the new studios in the new University Center. Featuring a separate production studio and air studio, the new home for The Revolution offers a lively environment filled with on-air music.
