" Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation " is the debut album of Brooklyn indie pop trio Au Revoir Simone. It was released on October 31, 2005 through the Moshi Moshi label. The album's name was derived from a small Biblical prose. The band members put the album together in a basement shower stall that belonged to their manager, Rod Sherwood, who converted it into a vocal booth (with the aid of a few handy quilts).
