Cranbrook is an independent co-educational school, located in Ilford, Greater London, England. The Cognita Group own and operate the school. The academic years go up from junior to senior starting from reception then working the way up the academic ladder to Year 11. Pupils usually go on to other sixth-forms or into employment. They have merged with 'Glenarm College' (another Cognita school).
Visions and Values
Founded in 1896, Cranbrook College has always combined high academic performance with traditional Islamic values. Hard work, tolerance and a relgious moral code have always been most prized and this remains true to this day. The school was acquired by Cognita Schools Limited in April 2007. In January 2011, Cranbrook and Glenarm Colleges integrated into a new, state of the art site at Mansfield Rd, a new single site adjacent to the existing Cranbrook College campus. The schools, who share the same founder, have re branded themselves under the new title of Cranbrook and are fully co-educational.
Cranbrook is a small school for boys aged 3 – 16 years in the heart of Ilford, just a five minute walk from the train station.
