river located in the southwest part of theU.S. state ofMichigan . The river's headwaters rise in wetlands in northern Cass County, just southwest of the village of Marcellus. The river flows east and then south to a confluence with the St. Joseph River in the city of Three Rivers.Significant tributaries of the Rocky River include Sheldon Creek, Four County Drain, Flowerfield Creek, Spring Creek, and Kerr Creek. The watershed encompasses over 112,000 acres (about 175 square miles) and includes portions of twelve townships in four counties:
