As well as hosting business conferences, entertainment events, and a regular records & comics sale, the Centre is known for regularly hosting conferences of the major British political parties.
The main hall was also the home venue of former professional
basketball teamBrighton Bears , which folded in2006 . Basketball will return to Brighton in2008 with the addition ofBrighton Cougars to theBritish Basketball League , though it is unconfirmed whether the Brighton Centre will be used as the home venue.External links
