Aurinko laskee länteen

"Aurinko Laskee Länteen" (English translation: "The Sun Sets In The West") was the Finnish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1965, performed in Finnish by Viktor Klimenko.

The song was performed sixteenth on the night (following Luxembourg's France Gall with "Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son" and preceding Yugoslavia's Vice Vukov with Čežnja). At the close of voting, it had received the dreaded "nul points", placing 15th (equal last with Spain's Conchita Bautista with "Qué Bueno, Qué Bueno", Germany's Ulla Wiesner with "Paradies, Wo Bist Du" and Belgium's Lize Marke with "Als Het Weer Lente Is"). This was Finland's second "nul points" and second appearance in last place.

The song deals with Klimenko experiencing a very brief love affair and coming to the conclusion that the setting of the sun signals the end of "the time of love".

It was succeeded as Finnish representative at the 1966 Contest by Ann Christine with "Playboy".
