Taki, Shimane

Taki, Shimane

was a town located in Hikawa District, Shimane, Japan. On March 22, 2005, Taki merged with several other towns and cities to form the new city of Izumo.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,096 and a density of 74.27 persons per km². The total area was 55.15 km².

It has a sister city, which is Kalajoki, Finland.
