Red Wharf is a British
independent record label . It was established in the mid 1990s byGraham Bowers as a vehicle to publish music and artists whose work was difficult to accurately place in any of the named genres, and consequently publishes works that spansavant garde , experimental, progressive, ambient andcontemporary music .Red Wharf’s output initially was that of Graham Bowers; these releases included "Of Mary's Blood", "Transgression", "
Eternal Ghosts ", "Pilgrim" . Although relatively quiet for the last few years due to health problems, new works by Graham Bowers are scheduled for release in the spring of 2007, Red Wharf's musical output has now expanded and includes the works of William Henshall, "Dark Opus" being his first release on the label. Other artists include Mel (Dr. Ian Mellish) who has an expansive catalogue of musical works composed and recorded over the last 27 years, two double albums "Details 1&2" and "Details 3&4", which are collections of short pieces as examples of his work were the first to be released. These were followed by "Television and the Bomb" and "Washing Fluid Art", both having associated 'Graphic Scores' in the form of two dimensional artwork.The music label forms one aspect of Red Wharf; other artistic activities include painting, sculpture, stage design for theatre productions, soundscores for film and video, sound for art installations and latterly short art films.

Clive Walley the internationally renowned fine art animation artist, featuring a selection of his many award winning films and two dimensional artwork.
Mel and the 'Graphic Scores' he originated as part his musical works forming the basis of his thesis, for his doctorate in electronic musical composition.
Graham Bowers and the artwork associated with his musical compositions, his sculptures and short films. Two of which have been shown and exhibited at film festivals and gallery installations, "
