language= English] The Ferrara Tower will have 29 storeys, double the number of the current tallest building in Swansea, the BT Tower. Ferrara Tower will be the tallest building in Wales upon completion, although a taller proposal has been granted planning permission at Bay Pointe in Cardiff. The tower "topped-out" to its full height on 12 September 2008.

On 26 January 2008, one of the construction workers died after falling three stories from the tower.
