Athletics
In the 2006-2007 school year, Crusader athletics rose to a level higher than ever. The football team reached the state tournament for its first time, the men's basketball team won its sub-section, and the men's track & field team won state. In the Spring of 2007, the boys' track and field team won the
Tri-Metro Conference and the Class AMinnesota True Team State Track and Field championship. In 2008, the boys track team repeated their track conference win and their True Team win. They were led by Matt Dvorak and Tate Plath as well as their coach, Mr. Brent Schacht.
