Planet Laz

Planet Laz was a lo-fi English independent record label of the early 1990s created as part of an ongoing prank by Alex Field who's releases featured the recordings of his school mates David Laslett, Adam Margison and Simon Pollard, as well as the group David Barry and the Fat Cow Too. The label supposedly released a number of self-distributed cassette releases. It is doubtful that most, or possibly any, of the label's releases ever actually existed in any form beyond demo copies.

Their 1992 Christmas EP was a recommended single retail release in Music Week, alongside other releases by Michael Bolton and Ernie Wise.

The EP's lead track was entitled "Let's Get Pissed For Christmas" and the Music Week recommendation simply read "Here, Here!"
