Stuart Gray (basketball)

Stuart Allan Gray (born May 27 1963, in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama) is an American/Panamanian former professional basketball player.

Gray attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and was selected with the 29th overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. He played with them for five seasons before moving on to the Charlotte Hornets (1989-90) and New York Knicks (1990-91). A 7'0" center, he holds career averages of 2.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Prior to going to UCLA, Gray attended John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California and graduated in 1981. He was the 1980 Los Angeles Unified School District Player of the Year in 1980, leading the Golden Cougars to the City 4-A Finals where they lost to Crenshaw High School.

Gray played for Panama's national team during the early 1990s.
