Bruce Frisko, born October 1965, is a co-host of CTV Atlantic's Live at 5 news magazine, and a popular news anchor. Frisko hails from
Saskatchewan . He began working in television inAlberta , following two years on the Regina radio scene. In 1995, Frisko made the move to ASN, where he began his Maritime broadcasting career as the co-anchor ofAtlantic Pulse . When Atlantic Pulse ended its very successful run, Bruce stayed on as the anchor for ASN's Headline News. In 1998, this newscast was transformed into the ATV Evening News. March 28 ,2007 on the popular friendship network websiteFacebook ,Greg Yorke from New Glasgow,Nova Scotia challenged his friend, Nicole MacDonald to get 25,000 people to join a Facebook group, and if she was successful he would have Bruce Frisko's facetattoo ed on his body. The goal was reached onMay 1 ,2007 and the tattoo occurred onMay 12 ,2007 , atPeddler's Pub in Halifax.When asked about it, Frisko commented "I don't understand it. I've been doing the same thing unnoticed for 12 years. Now, suddenly, overnight I'm a cult figure." [cite web
