Knightswood

Knightswood is a district in Glasgow, containing 4 areas: Knightswood North or High Knightswood, Knightswood South or Scotstounhill, Knightswood Park and Blairdardie. A suburban area, it is a grid of houses. It has a golf course [ [http://www.glasgow.gov.uk/en/Residents/Parks_Outdoors/Activities/Golf/knightswoodgolfcourse.htm Knightswood Golf Course] ] and park, and good transport links with the rest of the city. Garscadden and Scotstounhill railway stations serve Low Knightswood while Westerton station serves High Knightswood. Housing is mainly of cottage flat and semi-detached types, and is similar to other parts of the city such as Mosspark in the South Side and Carntyne in the East End, constructed around the same period.
