"Suicidal Thoughts" is the last track on The Notorious B.I.G.'s debut album "Ready to Die". It was produced by Lord Finesse from D.I.T.C., and samples Miles Davis' "Lonely Fire". The song features Biggie confessing his frustration of living to Puff Daddy over the phone, and contemplates suicide, while Puff Daddy tries to convince him to hang on. At the end, Biggie shoots himself as an epic conclusion. The only things heard are the operator saying the phone is off the hook and a slow fading heartbeat.

Notorious B.I.G. has stated that he was high on marijuana when he wrote the song and did not feel suicidal; rather, he would be relieved from stress if he were dead.Fact|date=March 2008
