Project Born is an American hip hop group from Flint, Michigan. In 1994, the group signed to Psychopathic Records on the strength of a demo that they had given to Insane Clown Posse.cite book |last=Bruce |first=Joseph |authorlink=Joseph Bruce |coauthors=Hobey Echlin |editor=Nathan Fostey |title=ICP: Behind the Paint |origdate= |origyear=2003 |origmonth=August |edition=2nd Edition |publisher=Psychopathic Records |location=Royal Oak, Michigan |isbn=09741846083 |pages= |chapter= ] Psychopathic had originally intended to release the demo as it had been recorded, but Project Born lost the tape, resulting in the group having to record a different extended play, titled "Born Dead", which was released in 1995, and featured appearances by Insane Clown Posse and Esham. However, the label was not as impressed by the new recording as they had been by the original. The label used to drive the group to the recording studio and buy them clothes. The EP was unsucessful, and the group was dropped by the label.
