7 August 1946 ) is formerLiberal Party of Australia member of theVictorian Legislative Assembly .Before entering parliament, Sibree was educated at
Strathcona Baptist Girls' Grammar School andMelbourne University where she gained a law degree. She joined the Young Liberal Movement in1968 and served as its vice-president in1970 . She married her first husband, Mark William Sibree, in1969 .In
1981 Sibree won theby-election caused by the retirement of Sir Rupert Hamer in the district of Kew. She served variously as Secretary toShadow Cabinet , opposition spokesperson for Early Childhood Development, Youth and Women's Affairs and opposition spokesperson for Further Education Training and Employment.In
1983 Sibree's first marriage ended in divorce. In December1987 she married John Leggoe, and a couple of months later, retired from politics. Fellow LiberalJan Wade retained the seat in the resulting by-election.References
