Madeleine Gurdon

Madeleine Astrid Gurdon, Baroness Lloyd-Webber, is a former equestrian sportswoman and the third wife of musical theatre impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber.

After his divorce from Sarah Brightman, to avoid publicity the couple announced they would marry at Lloyd Webber's Hampshire home on 9 February 1991. They also issued a letter which stated that after some thought about the war in the Persian Gulf, the couple came to this conclusion: "We feel we should not give in to the forces that have caused this situation and that we should continue with the party." The couple has three children: Alastair (born 3 May 1992), William (born 24 August 1993), and Isabella (born 30 April 1996).
