Akkhoykumar Boral

Akkhoykumar Boral (1860-1919) was a Bengali poet and writer. He was born in Kolkata.

Career

Boral was a fan of the poets, Biharilal Chakraborty and Rabindranath Tagore. However, he wrote with a very unique style and he was not influenced by either one.

His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary and higher secondary Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
