Arugas HaBosem is also the name of a shul in Baltimore. For over 50 years, the Rebbe was Rabbi Amrom Taub in Baltimore, a scion of the dynasty, and officially titled the Breeder Rov/Rebbe. Rav Taub went through many trials and tribulations in his life, including having five children before World War II, only to have his wife and children perish in the Holocaust, along with a total of 30 family members.

He then served the orthodox community of Baltimore faithfully after being sent to Baltimore by the Grand Rabbi of Satmar in the early 1950s.

One of the striking things about this righteous man was his genuine love for people and interest in improving their lives. He vigorously pursued peace within his community and between everyone with whom he came in contact. Rabbi Taub displayed a vibrant and unbounded joy for life, and the opportunities it afforded for doing G-d's will. As a leader who never rested on his honour, the Rebbe always had a warm smile for everyone, and gave generously of his time and energy to people of all backgrounds and perspectives. At the time of his death, Rabbi Taub was married to his sixth wife, to whom he had been married for over 14 years.

On 14 July 2007, Rabbi Amrom Taub died, and he was buried in Kiryas Joel, New York, next to his Rebbe, Rav Yoel m’Satmar.

Rabbi Taub was succeeded as by his son, Rabbi Shaya Taub as Breeder Rebbe. Rabbi Shaya's brother, Rabbi Shmuel Dovid Taub, is now the Breeder-Baltimore Rebbe of Williamsburg (New York). Rabbi Taub's nephew, Rav Aron Tzvi, now serves as the Rav of the Shul.
