"Amatorculus" is a genus of the jumping spiders, with a single described species.

Name

The genus name means "small friend" in Latin. The epitheton "stygius" is Latin for "from hell"

Distribution

"Amatorculus" is known from Distrito Federal and the State of São Paulo in Brazil.
