- Alexander Bonde
Alexander Bonde (born
January 12 ,1975 inFreiburg ) is a Germanpolitician and member ofAlliance '90/The Greens in theBundestag .As a member of the
Bundestag , he represents hisconstituency "284Emmendingen -Lahr ", a rural area in theBlack Forest that covers 41 municipalities in the state ofBaden-Württemberg . Bonde was first elected in 2002 and was reelected in 2005.Bonde serves on the Defense Committee and on the Budget&Appropriations Committee. He is vice-chairman of the
German-American Parliamentry Group and vice-chairman of the Aviation&Space Caucus of the German Bundestag.On the Budget&Appropriations Committee Alexander Bonde serves as “rapporteur-general” for economic cooperation and development(the equivalent to chairing a small subcommittee) as “rapporteur” (equivalent to being a member of a small subcommittee) for defence, homeland security and foreign affairs.
In 1992 and 1993 Bonde was an exchange student at
Kahuku High School (Oahu, Hawaii, USA). One of his classmates wasJack Johnson . Today he is a regular participant in German-American and German-Asian activities.External links
