Robert W. Wirch (born November 16, 1943) is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the state's twenty-second senate district. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.

Wirch was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and graduated from Bradford High School. He received a bachelor degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1970 and served in the United States Army Reserve from 1965 to 1971.

Wirch served as a member of the Board of Supervisors for Kenosha County from 1986 to 1994. In 1992, he was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly and served there until 1997. He was elected to the state senate in 1996 and was reelected in 2000 and 2004.

He currently lives in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
