Gator is a fy|1976 action film starring and directed by Burt Reynolds. It is a sequel to "White Lightning". Reynolds honored his favorite professor from college, Watson B. Duncan III, with a cameo role in the film – casting him as the Governor's press secretary.

Plot summary

Gator McKlusky (Reynolds) has been just released from prison following the events of "White Lightning" and is living in the Okefenokee Swamp with his father and daughter. Federal agents know that he is still making moonshine with his father and use this information to coerce him into assisting them to catch a corrupt politician.
