Shohratgarh is a tehsil and a nagar panchayat in Siddharthnagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Shohratgarh had a population of 8336. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Shohratgarh has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 51%.
