Harold Delano Wynegar Jr. (born March 14, 1956 in York, Pennsylvania) is a former Major League Baseball catcher who played for the Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, and California Angels from 1976 to 1988. A two-time American League All-Star in 1976 and 1977, Wynegar was a catcher with good offensive numbers during his 13 year career with the Twins, Yankees, & Angels. Caught Dave Righetti's no hitter in Yankee Stadium 7/4/83 vs the Boston Red Sox. Also caught Phil Niekro's 3000th strike out & his 300th win in 1985.

From 2002 to 2006 he was the hitting coach for the Milwaukee Brewers before not getting renewed for the 2007 season.Fact|date=October 2008
