John Morrill (historian)

John Morrill is a British historian who specialises in the political, religious, social and cultural histories of early-modern Britain.

He is Professor of British and Irish history at Cambridge University, Fellow of Selwyn College, Cambridge, and a Fellow of the British Academy. According to the BBC he was President of the Cromwell Association, "a body that seeks to promote public knowledge about and interest in Cromwell and his age" ( [http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/british/civil_war_revolution/cromwell_06.shtml] ) for 10 years.
