Georgi Shpagin

Georgi Shpagin

Georgi Semyonovich Shpagin (April 29, 1897 - February 6, 1953) was a Russian weapons designer. He was the creator of the famous PPSh-41 submachine gun.

Georgi Shpagin was awarded three Orders of Lenin, two other orders, and numerous medals.
