South Woodham Ferrers railway station serves the town of South Woodham Ferrers in Essex, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by National Express East Anglia. It is situated in the Crouch Valley Line and is statistically the busiest station on the branch lineFact|date=May 2007.

The station was also once a junction for a now dismantled line leading to Maldon which closed on 7 September 1964 [cite news|title=Southminster Survivor Celebrates 100|date=1989-06-29|publisher=Maldon and Burnham Standard|author=Denis L. Swindale] .

The trains run once hourly each way during the day although at peak hours the trains run once every 40-45 minutes each way. During rush hour, trains run directly to and from London Liverpool Street but otherwise trains will terminate or start at Wickford or Shenfield.

The station's name was changed from Woodham Ferrers to South Woodham Ferrers railway station on 20 May 2007 [National Rail Timetable Sunday 20 May to Saturday 8 December 2007] and new signs have been installed along the platform, as well as on top of the National Rail signpost.
