Adam Freier (born 20 March 1980 in Goondiwindi, Australia) is an Australian rugby union footballer. He currently plays for the New South Wales Waratahs in the international Super 14 competition. His usual position is at hooker. He is currently acting Captain of the Waratahs due to a long injury to Phil Waugh.

He made the Australian Schoolboys in 1998 as well as the under-19s, which he captained the following year. In 2000 he signed with the ACT Brumbies and made his state debut against Queensland. He went onto play for the Australian under-21s, including captaining them at the 2001 under-21 Rugby Championships, in which they finished runner-up to New Zealand. He made his debut for the Wallabies in 2002, in a match against Argentina.

Frier left the Brumbies and signed with the Waratahs for the 2003 season, and was selected to captain the Waratah's tour of Argentina in post-season 2004, and was voted player of the tour. In 2005 he was selected for the final match of the 2005 Tri Nations Series. After he was selected as the run-on hooker in the second Cook Cup match in 2006.
