Jon Jeary was the
bass guitarist and one of the founding members of Britishprogressive metal band Threshold. Jeary left the group in 2003 to be replaced by Steve Anderson. Roy Harper songs in pubs in theStaines area, whilst he was a student atRoyal Holloway College . Initially he lacked confidence in his voice and needed encouragement from friends. In a sudden and complete change of artistic style, Jeary founded If Not Why (later to become Threshold with local boys Ian Bennett and Karl Groom. In the band's first incarnartion, Jeary was lead vocalist.References
