The brand SieMatic originates from the furniture company founded by August Siekmann in 1929. The first SieMatic kitchen was celebrated as a sensation, because it was unique in design, function, materials and fittings. With the first ever kitchen in the world that had an integrated strip handle, they founded a new style that is still used 30 years later. This was the SieMatic 6006.
1979
SieMatic develops the ‘completely noiseless’ profile. Fitted on various cabinet doors, drawer units and sliding drawers of all SieMatic kitchens, it guarantees silent closing and protects the inner cabinets against dust.
2000
SieMatic pays homage to its original kitchen of this name to celebrate its 40th jubilee and at the same time gives it an up-to-date design – the new SieMatic 6006. Its unmistakable design concept is consciously oriented on typical details of the first SieMatic kitchen.
