The Lake Oswego School District (7J) is a public school district serving Lake Oswego, Oregon, United States, a suburb 10 miles south of Portland. The district comprises 13 primary and secondary schools with a total enrollment of 6,896 as of 2005. Lake Oswego, which is considered one of the most affluent cities in Oregon, has some of the best schools in the state.Fact|date=August 2008 According to the Oregon Department of Education's 2005 District and School Report Card study, all 13 schools in the Lake Oswego School District received excellent ratings.
