Lusitanian mythology is the
mythology of theLusitanians , theIndo-European people of western Iberia, in the territory comprising most of modernPortugal south of theDouro river.Lusitanian deities heavily influenced all of the religious practices in western Iberia, namely also in
Gallaecia . They would mingle with Roman deities after Lusitania was conquered.Main pantheon
The Lusitanian pantheon centered around a trinity:
*Endovelicus , the supreme (primary) God, and god of health.
*Ataegina , the goddess of health, the moon, and rebirth (a significant theme in Lusitanian religion).
