David Eades is a journalist and newsreader working for BBC News. He presents the news between 0800 - 1200 on BBC World News. He previously has been a Northern Ireland correspondent for the BBC, as well as Europe Correspondent and senior Sports News Correspondent.
He has presented the evening slot on BBC News 24 most weekdays alongside Carrie Gracie. David has reported on many other major news events. He has also presented weekend editions of Breakfast and presents BBC Radio 4's The World Tonight.
He runs his own small business called "Allday Media Ltd". David often turns to his friend and camera man Bo Lindstrum for filming and editing work.
Education
Eades was educated at the independent school Kent College in Canterbury, Kent, and at the University of Bristol.
Family
Eades has two children: Oliver and Robert, aged 18 and 16 respectively. Oliver has just finished his time at The Skinners' School and is awaiting A-Level results with an aspiration to go to Loughborough University whilst Robert has just completed his GCSEs at The Judd School and is a keen rugby player while pursuing an acting career. David is married to Teresa and they live in Southborough.
