Anixter Pentacon

Anixter Pentacon is the military/aerospace fastener distribution arm of Anixter International. Anixter International (NYSE: AXE) is a Fortune 600 (#509, Fortune 2006) company based in Glenview, Illinois, USA and founded in 1957. Anixter is the world's largest distributor of communication products and electrical and electronic wire and cable, and a leading distributor of fasteners and other small parts to original equipment manufacturers.

Anixter Pentacon, based in Chatsworth, California, is a full-line distributor of military/aerospace fasteners and component hardware, supplies both commercial and defense markets for production and maintenance requirements. Their focus is on managing inventory (Just In Time (JIT) / Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)) and maintaining the highest quality standards for customers. Sister company, Anixter Fasteners is the industrial (OEM) fastener arm of the company. Their customers range from automotive to environmental system manufacturers, companies that require large volumes of small C class assembly components. Anixter Fasteners focuses on providing high quality customized logistics and supply chain solutions.
