The Walkmen show for Summer and Zach, in an attempt at friendship. Alex was kicked out of three high schools, and works at the Bait Shop as a bartender. Seth ends up working under Alex and the two briefly have a relationship. Seth later learns of herbisexuality and ends the relationship. She soon afterward dates Marissa. Marissa moves out of her mother's home, shortly after giving her the news that Alex is her girlfriend, and moves in with Alex. Marissa falls back in love withRyan Atwood , though, so she and Alex break up, leaving Alex devastated.After the two girls break up, Marissa moves back to live with her mother and Alex decides to go back home and go back to school, Alex appeared in 13 episodes total.
