Otto Tumlirz, or Ota Tumlíř (23 July 1890, Rožmberk nad Vltavou – 3 January 1957, Graz) was a Czech-Austrian psychologist, researcher for pedagogy. He taught as a professor at the Graz University.
In 1908 Tumlirz described careful and effective experiments which demonstrated the effect of the rotation of the Earth on the outflow of water through a central aperture, in a paper entitled "A new physical evidence of the axis of rotation of the earth".
