John Hinge (Born 6 June 1986) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Adelaide Crows in the Australian Football League.

From Mundulla in the South East of South Australia, Hinge broke into SANFL league side Glenelg late in the season after some impressive reserves form. The reward for his efforts was to be elevated from the Crows rookie list to the senior list at the end of the season. He is capable of playing on the half back line or through the midfield. He was recruited from Glenelg (SANFL) and Sacred Heart College, South Australia.

Hinge made his AFL debut on the 5 May 2007 against Collingwood, where he was named on the bench. [cite news|title=afc.com.au News|url=http://afc.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsArticle/tabid/4417/Default.aspx?newsId=42519|date=4 May 2007|accessdate=2007-05-04|publisher=afc.com.au]

Hinge was delisted from the Crows squad at the end of the 2007 season after playing just 1 AFL game. He had a solid performance but was forced off the ground after a hamstring injury and never played AFL again. He currently plays with his SANFL club listed above. He joins Clayton Lamb as just the second player to play 1 game for Adelaide.
