Osiris D3
Osiris contacted pro skater Dave Mayhew to design his own skate shoe. The end result, The D3, started as a slow seller, but when Osiris began liquidating their surplus, the D3's popularity increased.[1]
The second version of the shoe, Osiris D3 2001, proved to be very popular. Osiris then released a smaller, lighter, less bulky version called the D3 NTX. This was followed by D3 4.0 and later a D3 Snowboarding boot, based on the design of the D3 2001 model.[citation needed]
