R. Emmett McAuliffe, Jr. is an entertainment lawyer and radio talk show host in St. Louis, MO.

Legal career

McAuliffe is an intellectual property attorney with Spencer, Fane, Britt, and Browne LLP. He was first admitted to the Missouri bar in 1983. He is the president of St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts (VLAA).

Mass Media Career

As a sidelight to his legal career, McAuliffe currently hosts the Emmett McAuliffe Show on Friday nights 2-5 a.m, and a real-estate show Sunday afternoons, both on KMOX. He and his radio fans (a.k.a. 'Dough Heads') used to meet at the Donut House in St. Louis, Missouri and later at Krispy Kreme after his show. McAuliffe has been a radio host for 30 years. He appears as a substitute on the award-winning KETC-TV discussion program, Donnybrook. He is on the board of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).

Education

McAuliffe graduated from Saint Louis Priory School, Wabash College, and Vanderbilt University Law School.

Personal life

McAuliffe is married and has three sons and a daughter. McAuliffe has written that his all-time favorite drama television series is "The Time Tunnel," a American science fiction show which aired for one season in 1966-67. http://www.bigdunker.com/html/top-ten.htm
