MormonAd

MormonAd

A MormonAd is a poster which appears in each issue of the "New Era", a magazine published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They first appeared in the 1970s.

MormonAds are designed to provide spiritual and/or moral messages to their readers (who do not have to be LDS). They are usually found as one-page posters in the "New Era". MormonAds usually feature a brief message, scripture reference from the Church's scriptures, and a photo-illustration or painting supporting it. The name "MormonAd" has since been changed to "New Era Poster" in more recent editions of the magazine.
