June 7 ,1969 ) is an American volleyball player who currently resides inHermosa Beach, California . He was born inManhattan Beach, California , and attendedUCSB , where he became a member of theSigma Chi fraternity . He is most notable for winning the gold medal in the2000 Olympic Games . He has earned approximately 1 million dollars playing volleyball. He has played professionally for more than 18 years, and has entered over 200 tournaments.Fonoimoana's partner is
