Atarra is a city and a municipal board in Banda district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Geography

Atarra is located at coord|25.28|N|80.57|E|. Ayurvedic college. There are number of good schools some of them are Hindu Inter college, Saraswati Inter college, Bramha Vigyan Inter college etc.There is a tehsil,thana and Railway station. A Religious place CHITRAKOOT is located 30 km from Atarra, which is khown for 14 years "vanwash" of Hindu Lord Shri Ram.
