First Presbyterian Day School

First Presbyterian Day School is a private college-preparatory christian school located in Macon, Georgia, United States. It was founded in 1970 as an offshoot of First Presbyterian Church, also located in Macon. It was founded, along with many other private schools in the southeastern United States, during the period of federally-mandated school desegregation.

Commonly known as "FPD" or "FPDS," it offers curriculum from K-4 through the 12th grade to approximately 1000 students. New fine arts and athletics facilities were completed in 2000 and a new high school building in 2006. School colors are red and black and the school mascot is the Viking.

FPD is a member of the Georgia Independent School Association, the College Board, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. FPD is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
