Dana Rogers

Dana Rogers is a jazz vocalist born in Port Arthur, Texas; she was raised "on the bandstand" by her father Bill Rogers.

After gaining local recognition by singing with both the Houston Grand Opera and Houston Ballet Choruses, Dana worked and recorded with master-mentor Shelly Berg. Upon Berg's recommendation, Dana was recruited and retained by The Jazz Ambassadors; awarded non-commissioned officer status, SSG Rogers was featured internationally in thousands of public appearances as their vocalist and clinician.

Recorded performances include: The Kennedy Center Tributes to Duke Ellington, performances with Frank Sinatra, Jr., Toots Thielemans, Bill Watrous, Carl Fontana, Buddy Childers, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (playing piccolo), The Four Freshmen, and Two-Time Grammy-winners Johnny Gimble and Floyd Domino.
